3 Super Foods to Help Your Nails Grow

ARE YOU HAPPY WITH YOUR NAILS?  Here’s three foods that’ll help you get gorgeous nails.

WHEN I was younger I used to bite my nails.   I even tried “nail biting” polish; nasty tasting!  Looking back… I probably would have had nice nails if I didn’t EAT them!

ONE DAY, I decided to stop biting my nails because my new boyfriend said he really liked girls with long nails.  Ah, ha!  I realize now that he just liked back scratches! (and still does… aka… my husband)

TODAY MY nails grow so fast, and I completely attribute this to my diet, which includes an array of plant protein, nuts and seeds, healthy fats and lots of leafy greens and green Super foods.

The following Super foods to help your nails grow are rich in certain vitamins that give your nails length and strength.

COCONUT OIL

Coconut Oil contains rich fats that are overall wonderful for your body and your appearance.

Coconut fats are used to nourish the body on a deep level, and since they are somewhat of a cleansing food, they help to fuel nail growth by keeping the body healthy.

SPINACH

Spinach is one of the most powerful greens on the planet and is a great food for your nails.

Spinach is rich in protein with almost 5 grams per cup and it contains Vitamin E, iron, B vitamins such as folate, and Vitamin A.

AVOCADOS

Avocados are a wonderful beauty food!

Avocados are another rich source of Vitamin E, folate and other B vitamins, plant protein and Vitamin A.

Every single nutrient in avocados helps your nail health, and the healthy fats help your body absorb these nutrients faster and more efficiently.

EAT UP FOR BETTER HEALTH AND LONGER NAILS IN NO TIME!

How often do you think you should polish your natural nails?

My recommendation is every third day.  Make it part of your daily beauty routine.  Chipped nails are not attractive.  If you don’t have time to actually polish, I get it, you’re busy with a crammed calendar, loads of laundry and windows to wash; at least file them and keep them neat because if you eat the super foods, they are going to grow like bananas!

PS – I’m crazy about COCONUT OIL.  Organically grown, unrefined coconut oil for Beauty Treatments for your hair, body hands, feet, face and overall wellness.  (I use COCONUT OIL on my cuticles)  What is your favorite way to use Coconut Oil?  Please COMMENT below!

Beauty Hack: Top Secret Ingredient for Glowing Skin

Would you like to know the secret ingredient to looking good, feeling confident and gaining attention?  This works! You’re going to LOVE it!

Are you feeling, Blah? Boring? Maybe you haven’t had a chance to exfoliate (which by the way, is my number one anti-aging skin care tip!); to get that fresh looking skin. I’ve got a beauty hack for you today.

TOP SECRET! We’re going to start with your cream or liquid foundation (it won’t work with powder or loose mineral foundation) and you’re going to go ahead and put some on the back of your hand. One pump (dime size) and then here’s the secret ingredient… it’s oil! I have the acai (ah-sigh-ee) oil with pomegranate (tomorrow I’m going to try Coconut Oil) and it’s going to take one little pump along side the foundation. Get your brush and mix it all together. “Stipple it” and it looks like beautiful flawless skin with a little bit of a glow. The oil doesn’t take away from the coverage it just makes it look more like your skin. It’s glowing. I love it! What do you think? Glowing, right? Try it! You’re going to love it!

Share this hack with your friends and your team and then COMMENT below and tell me which flavor oil you tried.

This is a game changer for you Essential Oil Independent Consultants!!!

P.S. Your skin always needs to be moisturized even if it’s oily. Your skin will over produce oil if it’s not moisturized. That was my #1 takeaway from Aesthetics School.
