The Top Eye Makeup Mistakes Most Women Make

EYE MAKEUP is practical magic.

It keeps you from looking washed out and tired, gets you going on a bad day, elevates your mood, and restores your confidence when you don’t feel fabulous.  it will make you feel sexy when you haven’t worked out and think you look fat.  EYE MAKEUP makes you look polished and gives your face definition.

Here are Three Top Mistakes Most Women Make –

  1.  Hoarding – If your makeup drawer is like a cosmetic graveyard; filled with makeup mistakes and products from five years ago, toss them out. Now!  Makeup can breed bacteria.  (Read my When to Break up With your Makeup post)  Mascara is the most vulnerable. Replace it every 3 months.
  2. Using the Wrong Tools – Using the applicators that come with the makeup you buy.  Short foam applicators with stubby round tips make applying shadow difficult.  Ge a pro set of brushes for a rock star application.
  3. Neglecting to Clean – I’ve seen some pretty horrific makeup come spilling out of cosmetic bags.  Grimy, dirty makeup pouches with dull pencils, crumbly powder shadows; and mascara with grubby applicators.  Puh-leeze clean dirty brushes, sharpen dull pencils, crape the top film off shadows, and use coconut oil to de-grease and clean all your compacts, as well as the interior of the case itself when necessary.
